Information classification

We handle a large volume of information, including paper documents, electronic files, emails and publications. It is our responsibility to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of this information.

Our Information Classification Policy and Handling Procedure aligns with the Queensland Government Information Security Classification Framework V5.0.0 (QGISCF). This procedure outlines how information and systems should be classified, and data is assigned a label that reflects its confidentiality and security requirements.

Most of our correspondence will be classified as ‘SENSITIVE’ or ‘CONFIDENTIAL’. Information such as reports and brochures will be labelled as ‘PUBLIC' once cleared for public release.
