Public Sector Ethics Training (Brisbane)

 

A half-day course designed to help all officers within public sector to assess and respond to ethical dilemmas.  The content includes various scenarios and group activities  with reflective questions to help officers make ethical decisions.

Course content

The course provides challenging ethical questions.  Officers work through various activities relating to conflicts of interest, appropriate use of their position and record keeping.  They will learn to make ethical decision taking into account key public service value such as integrity, impartiality, accountability and transparency.

Course outcomes

Participants will be able to:

  • identify ethical dilemmas
  • consider conflicts of interest and other factors before making a decision
  • promote an organisation culture that values high ethical standards
