Overview
This investigation focused on issues relating to noise from night-time surface work that was part of the Airport Link Project. The investigation identified failures by government agencies to give the community notice about noise arising from the project, define the noise level permitted, and properly monitor and regulate noise from the night-time surface works. The report made recommendations to agencies to improve the management of noise issues in future significant projects.
