Q150 Contract Report (2008)
The Q150 Contract Report presented the findings of the Ombudsman’s investigation into a complaint by the then Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Mr Mark McArdle MP. The complaint was about the Department of the Premier and Cabinet’s contracting process for the writing of a history of Queensland as part of Queensland’s 150th anniversary celebrations. The report was tabled in Parliament on 4 December 2008.
The Ombudsman made several recommendations to improve accountability and transparency in the department’s contracting processes and expenditure approvals.
